    can we use sharpie pens to decorated the rocks. what kind of paint do you use on the rocks. thank you for sharing.

      Yes, you can use sharpies on the rocks, at least I do. And I use Modge Podge as an undercoat to smooth out roughness, then paint the rock with acrylics, and lettering with sharpies, cover with another coat of Mudge Podge, and finish off with a spray of sealer. Let each layer try before the next layer.

        Unless the rock is very uneven I haven’t had to use anything other than acrylics, I do layer them up sometimes though 🙂

      sharpies will work, but they are better with an undercoat of acrylics or possibly enamel paint.
